I love dog and I love their owners – they are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.  I photographed this sweet pug a couple of years ago.  This year, his mom called me to do a mini session at his house so she could get some new photos for Father’s Day.  Love that! Can’t you tell he loves the camera?

If you are interested in a mini session, let me know via email (karenleslie @ mac.com) or phone (407.340.8088) and I’ll give you all the details.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted a preview from this session yet. These four furry friends all live together and their owner decided it was time to get some pictures.  I had so much fun with these cuties — all so well behaved and patient with me and my camera.  I loved all their different personalities.

This dog session was done in the client’s home.  If you are interested in a dog session, it can be done at your home, or at one of many of Orlando’s beautiful parks (dog friendly ones, of course.)  :)   In fact, my monthly mini sessions are perfect for a short but very impactful session with your favorite four-legged friend.

Enjoy! xoxo,

I know a lot of photographers who shy away from larger family groups because so many people can be quite overwhelming. Honestly, I love doing large family groups … especially when they have such fun energy, like this family. We met in Winter Park — right off Park Avenue — to do our session. This group was up for anything — kids and adults alike! I really enjoyed meeting all of you and I hope you had a good rest of your visit.

{A Dogs Life}

November 20, 2008

I spent a really beautiful afternoon with this wonderful family — including 2 absolutely well-behaved dogs. They are both rescue dogs, which made me like them and their owners even more because I have such a passion for rescued animals.

p.s. I love that people book photo sessions to do family pictures with their dogs!

The blog has been lacking in some really adorable dogs and I’m here to say that I’m about to fix that! Last week I had a great session with two dogs — a boxer and a shar-pei/german shepard mix. Now, I have to say that when my client told me he had a shar-pei/german shepard mix, I was most eager to see what those two breeds looked like in one dog. I shouldn’t have been surprised at all … because she looks just like that — shar-pei in the face and german shepard in the body. And, a really great personality to boot! Enjoy these adorable pups. :)

Every now and then I’ll get a human client who has the propensity to blink alot. I’ve never had the equivalent in a dog client … until now. haha. This sweet thing blinked A LOT! But, I thought her photos were still adorable.

{Opposites}

September 1, 2008

I haven’t shared a dog session in the blog lately, so I was so excited when this family booked me to photograph their two toy poodles. We had great fun at their session — I just loved each dog’s personality. They could not have been more different — both in color and in personality. One was totally laid back and the other was quite gregarious. :) Enjoy your preview.
