I’m sad to say that I met this family for the first time a couple of weeks ago, just a few days before they moved away from Orlando. ::sigh:: They were so much fun to work with and I absolutely loved the personality of both beautiful girls. 
They live(d) near Lake Como in downtown Orlando, so we did their session there. Apparently one of their favorite family activities was feeding the ducks at the lake …. so, of course, we had to include that in our session.
Even though the rain threatened us during the entire session, we managed to not only stay dry, but also take advantage of some really beautiful light and got some great shots. Of course, it doesn’t hurt when you have such beautiful parents-to-be.

Just when I thought I was ahead of the game, something comes along and I’m behind the 8-ball again. I promised these previews last week and I’m just now getting to them. I’m sorry to all the families who have eagerly been awaiting their images. This family was visiting Orlando and staying at the Waldorf Astoria. We had to dodge some bad weather, but we were blessed by beautiful sunshine the entire time we were together!
Oh my goodness! I cannot even begin to tell you how adorable this little one is and how good he was for our photography session. I’m really going to have a hard time editing this session! Daddy (as you can see in the last photograph) is a firefighter with the Orlando Fire Department. Mom wanted that incorporated into our maternity and newborn sessions, and I think it turned out great. Enjoy your preview!

Some of my favorite photographs that I’ve taken are the ones that show that special connection between Mom and child. There is always such love … such wonderment … such peace. Its been a couple of weeks since I shared a What to Wear segment and I was itching to do some online shopping. This latest one is from one of my favorite online stores: Boden. They have really adorable clothes for adults, teens and kids. And their stuff is really well made! I love the fun colors and graphics they use in their clothing.
There is something about this image that I absolutely love. So, I had to share it.
