{Beautiful Mama-to-be}

April 28, 2009

Had a wonderful maternity session with this gorgeous couple last week. Funny story with this session… A few months back I got a call asking if I did gift certificates. Yes I do! A group of friends were going to surprise their friend at her baby shower with a gift certificate for a maternity & newborn session. We were just finalizing the details when I got a frantic call that the friend had now decided she was going to find a photographer on her own (she was unaware of the generous gift). So, we fast forwarded everything and her friends had to give her the gift a little bit earlier. My client and I were laughing about this at her maternity session. She said that she had actually picked me and was about to call … and then her friends gave her the gift certificate! What luck :)

I cannot wait to meet their new little boy or girl (its a surprise!) within the next month. :) He or she is destined to be beautiful … and totally loved.

I gave this next one a fun edit to make it look like 70s film. :)

{Orlando Family Vacation}

April 27, 2009

The wonderful family was visiting Orlando last week and staying at the Marriott Harbour Lake. Since everyone was in town from all over the U.S. they thought it would be a perfect time for some family portraits. We used the beautiful backdrop of their hotel property and got some really fantastic photos! Enjoy…

In honor of Mother’s Day coming up in a few short weeks I thought I would highlight these three mother/daughter portraits. Aren’t they lovely?

{Golden Light}

April 22, 2009

I had the most beautiful light during a session last night. I was so excited to see the images that I couldn’t stop from editing a few to share right away. This little girl was a great subject to photograph and her Mom brought the best clothes along! This was another session done on the campus of Rollins College.

I had a fantastic senior session yesterday on the campus of Rollins College. Beautiful weather and I’m so glad she agreed to meet me so early. We had beautiful light! I think we were done with our session before most students were awake yesterday.

Did I mention that she has the best name?? I’m really into names and I *loved* hers.

{Family Session}

April 13, 2009

I’ve known this family for a couple of years now and have been photographing their youngest two since before they were born (we did a maternity session before the middle guy was born). They are a really great family and I’m happy to consider them friends now. We met on Saturday for a family session and had an absolute blast! I love the bright red/white/blue that Mom picked out for everyone to wear. Everyone looks great together without completely matching one another.

The oldest is really such a wonderful big brother to his younger two brothers.

{Two}

April 7, 2009

This is actually the second time I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little girl. The first time was last year for her first birthday. I was happy to see her again on her second birthday. We did our session at the beautiful Dickson Azalea Park in downtown Orlando. I’m really loving this location. Enjoy these photos of this gorgeous beauty…

If you are looking for some awesome plans for Sunday, then I’d love to see you at the Doggie Art Festival in downtown Baldwin Park, Orlando. I’ll be participating and you absolutely MUST stop by my booth to say hi and sign up to win a free photo session. We did this event last year and it was a blast! The guys at Bullfish do an awesome job every year. Even if you don’t have a dog, its great people and dog watching! :)
