{love}

October 30, 2008

I just loved working with this family … with ‘love’ being a very relevant word. I could just feel the love surrounding them! We had a brilliant day at Leu Gardens — the weather was spectacular (if not a bit hot) and the light was just beautiful for us.

The blog has been lacking in some really adorable dogs and I’m here to say that I’m about to fix that! Last week I had a great session with two dogs — a boxer and a shar-pei/german shepard mix. Now, I have to say that when my client told me he had a shar-pei/german shepard mix, I was most eager to see what those two breeds looked like in one dog. I shouldn’t have been surprised at all … because she looks just like that — shar-pei in the face and german shepard in the body. And, a really great personality to boot! Enjoy these adorable pups. :)

Every now and then I’ll get a human client who has the propensity to blink alot. I’ve never had the equivalent in a dog client … until now. haha. This sweet thing blinked A LOT! But, I thought her photos were still adorable.

{expecting}

October 25, 2008

Last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful couple who are expecting a baby boy next month. We did their maternity session in their house and I brought my portable studio set up so we could get a variety of images. Here’s a sneak peek … Look at how adorable they are!

{6 months}

October 21, 2008

Yikes! I didn’t realize it had been so long since I had been here to update the blog. My only excuse is the busy holiday season. I have lots to blog … just not enough time to do it. Excuses, excuses.

Last week I got to spend some time with one of my favorite families. I’ve had the pleasure of watching these kids grow up because I’ve been to their house every three months for almost two years now. We started with a newborn session for big brother and now we’re up to the 6 month session for little brother. Both of these boys are just as sweet as can be (not to mention that they have really wonderful parents too!)

We took some time to photograph the boys in their Halloween costumes, but I’m not going to spoil the surprise for family and friends. Trust me … they are adorable in their costumes.

Big brother. He used to be soooo good for me and just sit still while I took his picture. I’m afraid that now that he’s “almost two” sitting still wasn’t so much of an option. I’m even surprised I got this!

And one of mama and her two boys. Love this picture :)
